ASCDC is proud to be working with Judge Michael Nash, Presiding Judge of the Los Angeles Superior Court’s “Children’s Court” in Monterey Park to make available fantastic pro-bono opportunities for our members. All of the children who are subject to this Court’s jurisdiction are victims of abuse or neglect. They are very much in need of legal representation on such matters as adoption and public benefits. ASCDC is in the early stages of working with the Alliance for Children’s Rights to provide attorneys who wish to donate even a small amount of their time to The Foster Children’s Adoption Program and the Public Benefits & Children’s Advocacy Program. Training will be available to those who wish to participate. We urge all of our members to give back to the community by participating in this or other pro-bono opportunities. Please contact the ASCDC offices if you would like to participate.”
